THE IOWA GOLF ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION PRESERVES, PROTECTS AND PROMOTES THE BEST INTERESTS AND SPIRIT OF THE GAME OF GOLF. IT'S MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES ARE THE GENERATION OF TAX DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTIONS TO FUND ITS CHARITABLE PURPOSES WHICH INCLUDE THE GRANTING OF COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS, ADMINISTERING THE IOWA GOLF HALL OF FAME AND SUPPORTING JUNIOR GOLF, TURFGRASS RESEARCH, AND OTHER PROGRAMS.

AWARD HERMAN SANI COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS - FOUR 4-YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED EACH YEAR.AWARD ANN GRIFFEL COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS - FIVE 1-YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED EACH YEAR.
IOWA GOLF HALL OF FAME - APPROXIMATELY 141 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE 2023 INDUCTION CEREMONY WHERE FOUR NEW MEMBERS WERE INDUCTED.
THE ORGANIZATION MADE GRANTS TO SUPPORT TURFGRASS RESEARCH AND JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAMS. THE ORGANIZATION'S YOUTH ON COURSE JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAM RECEIVED MEMBERSHIP REVENUE FROM 1,055 MEMBERS AND PAID SUBSIDIES FOR 6,403 ROUNDS OF GOLF AT 42 PARTICIPATING GOLF COURSES IN 2023.
