ADVANTAGE CLEVELAND TENNIS AND EDUCATION INC. (ADCLE, FORMERLY KNOWN AS INNER CITY TENNIS CLINICS) PROVIDES CLEVELAND'S YOUTH WITH PROGRAMMING IN TENNIS, FITNESS, WELLNESS, LITERACY, STEM AND CREATIVE EXPRESSIONS TO PREVENT THE SUMMER LEARNING SLIDE THAT OCCURS IN URBAN AREAS WHEN CHILDREN DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING. ADCLE STRIVES TO PROMOTE THE SUCCESS IN CHILDREN'S ACADEMIC PURSUITS BY PROVIDING A PROGRAM THAT IGNITES STUDENTS' PASSION ABOUT LEARNING. IN ADDITION TO AN EIGHT-WEEK SUMMER CAMP, ADCLE NOW PROVIDES AN AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM AS WELL AS WEEKEND TENNIS CLINICS TO ENSURE STUDENTS' SUCCESS ON AND OFF THE COURT. ADCLE AIMS TO INCREASE GRADUATION RATES, REDUCE OBESITY RATES, AND PROMOTE SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL WELLNESS AMONG ITS PARTICIPANTS, AGES 6-16.
