THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE YORK ADAMS COMMUNITY TENNIS ASSOCIATION IS TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF TENNIS AS A MEANS OF HEALTHFUL RECREATION AND PHYSICAL FITNESS, AND TO COOPERATE WITH THE MIDDLE STATES TENNIS ASSOCIATION, UNITED STATES TENNIS ASSOCIATION AND OTHER ASSOCIATIONS IN THE PURSUIT OF THESE AIMS.

THE JUNIOR TENNIS PROGRAM WAS ESTABLISHED TO PROVIDE TENNIS INSTRUCTION TO STUDENTS AGE 5-18. CURRENTLY THERE ARE ABOUT 40 INSTRUCTORS TEACHING TENNIS TO 300 PARTICIPANTS.
THE ADULT TENNIS & PICKLEBALL PROGRAM FEATURES HIGHER LEVEL INSTRUCTION AND COMPETITION WITH OTHER GROUPS IN PA. CURRENTLY THERE ARE ABOUT 5 COACHES AND INSTRUCTORS AND APPROXIMATELY 250 PARTICIPANTS IN THESE PROGRAMS.
THE AFTER CARE PROGRAM IS AN AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM FEATURING TENNIS INSTRUCTION, EXERCISE AND HOMEWORK COMPLETION FOR WORKING PARENTS. THERE WERE 5 PAID PART-TIME EMPLOYEES AND 26 STUDENTS IN THIS PROGRAM IN GRADES 1 THROUGH 8.
