USTA ADULT AND YOUTH COMPETITIVE TENNIS PROGRAMS OFFER QUALITY RECREATIONAL AND COMPETITIVE TENNIS PROGRAMS FOR INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES AND ABILITIES. THESE PROGRAMS PROVIDE TENNIS AS A MEANS OF HEALTHFUL RECREATION AND PHYSICAL FITNESS AND FOSTER HIGH STANDARDS OF AMATEURISM AND GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP. ADULT TENNIS PROGRAMS INCLUDE USTA LEAGUES, RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL TENNIS, TENNIS ON CAMPUS, AND USTA SANCTIONED ADULT TOURNAMENTS. YOUTH PROGRAMS INCLUDE 10 AND UNDER PROGRAMS, EARLY DEVELOPMENT CAMPS, JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS LEAGUES AND EVENTS, AND USTA SANCTIONED JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS.
COMMUNITY TENNIS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORTS THE GROWTH OF TENNIS PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL COMMUNITIES LOCATED WITHIN THE EASTERN SECTION. SUPPORT INCLUDES CONDUCTING TENNIS TRAININGS FOR CLINICIANS, COACHES AND TEACHERS WHICH ENABLES THEM TO CONDUCT AND ADMINISTER TENNIS PROGRAMS AND EVENTS; AWARDING GRANTS THAT SUPPORT TENNIS PROGRAMS AND TENNIS EVENTS TO TENNIS MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS, SCHOOLS, PARK & RECREATION PROGRAMS, COMMUNITY TENNIS ASSOCIATIONS, UNIVERSITIES AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS; AND HOSTING COMMUNITY TENNIS EVENTS WITHIN THE EASTERN SECTION.
MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS ACTIVITIES WHICH FACILITATE THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION "TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP THE GROWTH OF TENNIS IN THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA COVERING THE STATE OF NEW YORK, NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY, AND GREENWICH CONNECTICUT."
