PUBLIC EDUCATION & AWARENESS: DISSEMINATE INFORMATION ON THE SPECIAL NEEDS OF OUR WOUNDED VETERAN & ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY. PROVIDE RESOURCE AND SUPPORT SERVICE INFORMATION TO FAMILY MEMBERS AND CAREGIVERS AS THEY CARE FOR AND TRANSITION MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS BACK INTO THE COMMMUNITY.
PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO EASE THE BURDENS THAT CAN RESULT WHEN PROVIDING CARE TO A MILITARY SERVICE MEMBER WOUNDED OR INJURED DURING THE GLOBAL WAR ON TERROR, INCLUDING: TRAVEL TO HOSPITALS AND RECOVERY CENTERS, PARTICIPATION IN ADAPTIVE SPORTS EVENTS, ASSIST WITH SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT AND COMMUNICATION DEVISES, MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE AND RENT EVICTION PREVENTION.
