THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES SIX MEDICAL CLINICS IN NIGERIA. THE CLINICS ARE LOCATED IN KATERI, IBURU, GIDAN WAYA (KAFANCHAN), GUSAU, PORT HARCOURT, BARI AND KEBBI. THE POPULATIONS IN THESE AREAS OF NIGERIA LIVE IN SMALL VILLAGES AND OFTEN TIMES HAVE TO TRAVEL IN EXCESS OF 50 MILES TO GET TO A HOSPITAL. THE CLINICS ARE STAFFED WITH DOCTORS, NURSE PRACTICTIONERS AND LAB TECHNICIANS. THE CLINICS ARE OPEN 24 HOURS A DAY AND OPERATE A MOBILE VAN WHICH PROVIDES MEDICAL SERVICES TO REMOTE AREAS ON CERTAIN DAYS OF THE WEEK. THESE CLINICS ARE OWNED AND OPERATED BY THE ANGLICAN DIOCESES IN NIGERIA. KATERI MEDICAL SERVICES, INC. PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE DIOCESES TO PAY FOR PAYROLL EXPENSES, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, EQUIPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF THE CLINICS. THE CLINICS SERVE OVER 20,000 PATIENTS PER YEAR.
