EVENTS THE REGIONAL EVENTS GRANT PROGRAM ASSISTED FIVE USK CHAPTERS IN HOSTING REGIONAL GATHERINGS AT A LARGER SCALE, WITH THE AIM OF BUILDING STRONGER REGIONAL SKETCHING COMMUNITIES, EMPOWERING CHAPTERS TO ORGANIZE AND CREATE NEW TYPES OF EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES, FIND WAYS TO USE URBAN SKETCHING TO REACH OUT TO COMMUNITIES BEYOND USK, AND CREATING A MORE ACCESSIBLE, SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT ATTEND THE USK SYMPOSIUM. REGIONAL GATHERINGS TOOK PLACE IN ARGENTINA, INDIA, INDONESIA, POLAND, AND THE UNITED STATES.
COMMUNICATIONS URBAN SKETCHERS SHIFTED FOCUS TO INCLUDE MORE MESSAGING ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION, ITS VOLUNTEERS, AND ITS ACTIVITIES. EDUCATION PROJECTS WERE COMPLETED THE FOR FIVE REPORTAGE GRANTS INITIATED IN 2021, HIGHLIGHTING ASPECTS OF LOCAL CULTURE, MOMENTS IN TIME, INDUSTRIES OR TRADES, AND SOCIETAL CHANGE IN DRAWINGS AND WRITING. USK WORKSHOPS WERE HELD IN EUROPE AND THE UNITED STATES.
