FILED LITIGATION OVER LONG-TERM WATER TRANSFER PROGRAM, AS WATER BUYERS SOUTH OF THE DELTA CONTINUE TO SEEK SIGNIFICANT WATER FROM THE SACRAMENTO VALLEY, SO ARID AREAS MAY GROW PERENNIAL CROPS.LED COALITION THROUGH THE PUBLIC COMMENT PHASES AND FILED THREE LAWSUITS REGARDING THE VIOLATION OF THE SUSTAINABLE GROUNDWATER MANAGEMENT ACT OF 2014 (SGMA). THE 2015 LAWSUIT REGARDING TEMPERATURE VIOLATIONS IN THE SACRAMENTO RIVER THAT KILLED OVER 95% OF THE ENDANGERED SACRAMENTO RIVER WINTER-RUN SALMON WAS SETTLED AND TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT IS IMPROVING. CHALLENGED THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT TO MOVE MORE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WATER TO SOUTH OF THE DELTA. FOR EDUCATION, AQUALLIANCE EXPOSED THE PRESENCE OF SINKHOLES IN GLENN COUNTY THAT LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENT AGENCIES HID FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC SINCE 2021.
