THE HEALTHY HARBOR COMMUNITY INITIATIVE (HHCI) GRANT PROGRAM AWARDED A TOTAL OF $400,000 TO FOUR COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, DEDICATED TO OFFSETTING THE IMPACTS OF PORT-RELATED OPERATIONS. IN ITS SECOND YEAR, GRANTS RANGED FROM $50,000 TO $250,000.IN ITS 8TH ROUND OF FUNDING, COMMUNITY BENEFIT GRANTS (CBG) TOTALING 131,800 WERE AWARDED TO TWO ORGANIZATIONS, IN THE AMOUNTS OF 21,800 AND 110,000. THIS ANNUAL INITIATIVE IS PART OF A LARGER STRATEGY TO BRING RESOURCES INTO THE COMMUNITY, SUPPORT ONGOING COLLABORATIONS, AND ESTABLISH NEW PARTNERSHIPS THAT BENEFIT THE COMMUNITIES OF SAN PEDRO AND WILMINGTON.
