MESH SERVES AS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL HEALTHCARE COALITION RESOURCE CENTER (NHCRC). FOUNDED IN 2013, WITH A FOCUS ON ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE (ASPR) HOSPITAL PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM (HPP) AND CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS (PHEP) PROGRAM CAPABILITIES, NHCRC PROJECT OFFERINGS INCLUDE: (1) HOSTING THE ANNUAL NATIONAL HEALTHCARE COALITION PREPAREDNESS CONFERENCE; (2) PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO EMERGING AND ESTABLISHED HEALTHCARE COALITIONS; AND (3) OFFERING WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR COALITIONS AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. THE LATTER ARE DESIGNED TO PROVIDE ATTENDEES WITH THE TOOLS NEEDED TO ESTABLISH A SUSTAINABLE COALITION.
MESH PROVIDES DIRECT HEALTHCARE EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SERVICES INCLUDING, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: (1) COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM ASSESSMENT AND GAP ANALYSIS; (2) ONGOING MAINTENANCE OF ESSENTIAL PROGRAM COMPONENTS; (3) STAFFING OF THE HOSPTIAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COMMITTEES; (4) EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT TRAINING AND EDUCATION SERVICES; (5) HOMELAND SECURITY EXERCISE AND EVALUATION PROGRAM COMPLIANT DRILLS, EXERCISES, AND AFTER ACTION REVIEWS, AS WELL AS REAL INCIDENT AARS; (6) 24/7 ON-CALL SUPPORT SERVICES; AND (7) ASSISTANCE WITH HOSPITAL PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM GRANT COMPLIANCE. THIS MANAGED SERVICES APPROACH ALLOWS HEALTHCARE FACILITIES TO RAPIDLY AND EFFECTIVELY MEET ACCREDITATION REQUIREMENTS; BUILD CLINICAL, OPERATIONAL, AND BUSINESS RESILIENCE; AND DEVELOP A STANDARDIZED PROGRAM TO INCREASE EFFICIENCY AND PROMOTE BEST PRACTICES ACROSS THE CONTINUUM OF CARE.
