IN 2022, COLORADO ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE (CAWL) SPAYED AND NEUTERED 1,324 ANIMALS IN ROSWELL NM AND ELIZABETH CO. THE FOCUS IN THESE AREAS IS OWNED ANIMALS THAT WILL NOT BE ALTERED DUE TO FINANCIAL EXPENSE THAT THE OWNERS SIMPLY CANNOT AFFORD. IN ADDITION, CAWL RESCUED FOUR DOGS FROM ROSWELL THAT WERE ALL STERILIZED AND ADOPTED INTO WONDERFUL HOMES. CAWL ALSO RESCUED 28 CATS DURING 2022.
