THE GOAL OF OPERATION WALK PHILADELPHIA IS TO TAKE ONE MISSION TRIP PER YEAR TO ENHANCE THE ORTHOPEDIC SURGICAL OPTIONS FOR PATIENTS AND ORTHOPEDIC SURGEONS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES, THUS ENABLING PATIENTS TO RETURN TO THEIR LIVES AS PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY. OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO ACCOMPLISH FIFTY TO SIXTY HIP AND KNEE REPLACEMENTS PER MISSION TRIP AND TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING TO IN-COUNTRY SURGEONS.
