KVC PROVIDES RECRUITMENT, LICENSING & TRAINING FOR RESOURCE FAMILIES IN KENTUCKY, PROVIDES LICENSED BEDS FOR CHILDREN IN THERAPEUTIC FOSTER CARE. FAMILY SERVICE COORDINATORS PROVIDE ONGOING SUPPORT TO FAMILIES INCLUDING 24/7 CRISIS SUPPORT, THERAPEUTIC SERVICES FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE NEEDS, CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS, MENTORING COORDINATION, COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUPS AND EDUCATIONAL PUBLICATIONS. PSYCHIATRY AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES ARE ALSO PROVIDED ON INDIVIDUALIZED TREATMENT PLANS. IN FY21, KVC WAS ABLE TO CARE FOR 29 CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE STATE IN FOSTER CARE.
