WITH A VISION FOR ENRICHED EDUCATION, THE ASD FOUNDATION ENCOURAGES, PROMOTES AND SUPPORTS POSITIVE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES FOR STUDENTS IN THE ALLENTOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT. THE FOUNDATIONS VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS SEEKS INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTIONS, FOUNDATION GRANTS, CONDUIT GIFTS, AND OTHER FUNDING SUCH AS EITC CORPORATE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE EXCELLENCE WHILE RECOGNIZING THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF ALLENTOWNS 16000 STUDENTS AND 2100 EMPLOYEES. IN THE 2021-2022 SCHOOL YEAR, CONDUIT GIFTS WERE USED TO SUPPORT THE CENTURY PROMISE AND MIDDLE SCHOOL TRANSFORMATION INITIATIVES, DIERUFF HIGH SCHOOL DHS KISKA AND TROIKA BANQUETS, DHS STAGE LIGHTING, MARUSHAK OUTDOOR CLASSROOM, DHS BASKETBALL, DHS AND WILLIAM ALLEN HS WAHS WEIGHT ROOM RENOVATIONS, WAHS SOCCER, WAHS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION WEBSITE, LEARNING DOME MUHLENBERG ELEMENTARY PLAYGROUND, UNIFORMS AND GIFT CARDS FOR STUDENTS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS, RBI BASEBALL PROGRAM, AND THE UNION TERRACE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FIRE ASSISTANCE.
