TO ELIMINATE EUTHANASIA OF TREATABLE, ADOPTABLE DOGS AND CATS IN MARICOPA COUNTY THROUGH ADOPTION, MEDICAL CARE, PROMOTION OF SPAY & NEUTER AND OWNER EDUCATION. HFG ALSO OPERATES A LOW-COST VACCINE/MICROCHIP CLINIC EACH WEEK TO PROVIDE LOW-COST WAY FOR COMMUNITY TO KEEP THEIR PETS HEALTHY AND SAFE.

Part 3 - Line 4a

ADOPTION PROGRAM PLACING CATS AND DOGS INTO PERMANENT HOMES AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN FULLY EXAMINED BY A VETERNARIAN, SPAY/NEUTERED, VACCINATED, MICRO-CHIPPED, AND ASSESSED FOR OTHER HEALTH AND BEHAVIORAL CONCERNS. SOME OF THE ANIMALS HOUSED AT HOME FUR GOOD MAY BE ADOPTED IN A VERY SHORT TIME. HOWEVER, SOME MAY STAY AT THE SHELTER FOR A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. THIS PROGRAM'S EXPENSES INCLUDE MEDICAL CARE, BOARDING, FOOD/SUPPLIES AND GENERAL CARE OF THE ANIMALS.


THIS LOW-COST CLINIC IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS AN AFFORDABLE OPTION TO KEEP PETS IN THE COMMUNITY HEALTHY. ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN.


LOW COST VACCINE CLINIC THIS PROGRM IS OFFERED TO BOTH THE FAMILIES WHO ADOPT HOME FUR GOOD PETS AND TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. IT HAS GROWN INTO A POPULAR AND WELL-RECEIVED COMMUNITY PROGRAM. THIS PROGRAM ALSO OFFERS LOW-COST MICRO-CHIPPING OF PETS, A VALUABLE TOOL IN LOCATING LOST PETS AND PREVENTING THEM FROM RETURNING INTO THE SYSTEM. THIS PROGRAM WILL CONTINUE TO BE A FOCAL POINT OF THE SHELTER.


LOW COST DENTAL CLINIC THIS PROGRAM IS OFFERED TO BOTH THE FAMILIES WHO ADOPT HOME FUR GOOD PETS AND TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. IT OFFERS AN AFFORDABLE BUT IMPORTANT PART OF HEALTH CARE FOR BOTH DOGS AND CATS FOR THEIR LONG TERM WELL BEING AND PREVENTION OF DENTAL DISEASES AND RELATED ISSUES. BY OFFERING LOW COST PROFESSIONAL TEETH CLEANING BY A VETERINARIAN IN A FULLY EQUIPPED PET SURGICAL ENVIRONMENT PET OWNERS CAN SAVE MONEY WHILE STILL PROVIDING GOOD CARE FOR THEIR BELOVED ANIMALS.
