THE MID AMERICA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION (MAHA) IS THE GOVERNING AGENCY FOR THE JR MAVS YOUTH HOCKEY ORGANIZATION WHICH HAS 12 YOUTH HOCKEY TEAMS SERVING 153 YOUNG BOYS AND GIRLS PARTICIPATING FOR THE 2016-2017 SEASON. THE JR MAVS ORGANIZATION IS BASED IN INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI, AND PLAYS OUT OF THE SILVERSTEIN EYE CENTER ARENA. MAHA OFFERS PLAYERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE ON HOUSE HOCKEY TEAMS IN DIVISIONS FROM 8U THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL. MAHA'S MOST SIGNIFICANT ACCOMPLISHMENT IS PROVIDING YOUTH OF THE COMMUNITY AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN A NEW SPORT AND COMPETE AT A SKILL APPROPRIATE LEVEL.
