Part 3
BBQ AND BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL OCCURRED TWO DAYS AUGUST 18 AND 19, 2018. THE FESTIVAL INCLUDED A BBQ COOKING COMPETITION AND BLUE-GRASS MUSIC PERFORMED BY SEVERAL BANDS OVER THOSE DAYS. AS THE EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC (NO TICKET SALES), THERE IS NOT A RELIABLE MEANS OF DETERMINING THE NUMBER OF ATTENDEES (DEVISING A SYSTEM TO ACCURATELY TAKE ATTENDANCE WOULD INCREASE LABOR AND ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS). HOWEVER, BASED ON THE AVAILABLE INDICATORS (SUCH AS VISUAL INSPECTION), ATTENDANCE WAS MAINTAINED AT HIGH LEVEL. THIS EVENT CONTINUES TO BE A STAPLE, ANNUAL EVENT ATTENDED AND ENJOYED BY THE LOCAL COMMUNITY, VISITORS TRAVELING THROUGH THE AREA, AND REGIONAL VISITORS WHO TRAVEL TO THE AREA SPECIFICALLY TO ATTEND THIS FESTIVAL. SEE SCHEDULE O FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RESPECTING THE NATURE OF THE PROGRAM SERVICE.
