EAST HARRIS COUNTY RECOVERY PROJECT IS AN INITIATIVE THAT SERVES AND SUPPORT EAST HARRIS COUNTY RESIDENTS AS THEY RECOVER FROM NATURAL AND MANMADE DISASTERS. CREATED IN RESPONSE TO HURRICANE HARVEY IN 2017, THE PROJECT PROVIDES FINANCIAL, BASIC NEEDS AND OTHER FORMS OF ASSISTANCE TO ELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLDS.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM IS AN INITIATIVE THAT DEVELOPS AND DEEPENS RELATIONSHIPS WITH INDIVIDUAL FAMILIES AND ORGANIZATIONS. THE PROGRAM WAS CREATED IN RESPONSE TO THE LACK OF SUPPORT AND INVESTMENT IN EAST HARRIS COUNTY, THROUGH A SERIES OF ONGOING INITIATIVES AND PROJECTS, NEIGHBORS ARE CONNECTED TO LIFE-ENHANCING SERVICES AND PROGRAMS.
