AFFORDABLE HOUSING PROJECT OVERSIGHT:THE ASSOCIATION OF NEW YORK CATHOLIC HOMES OPERATES UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF NEW YORK TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE MORE THAN 3,000 HOUSING UNITS OWNED BY 14 ARCHDIOCESAN-SPONSORED HOUSING CORPORATIONS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO WORKS TO BUILD NEW AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS ON DESIGNATED ARCHDIOCESAN AND HOUSING-CORPORATION-OWNED PROPERTIES.THE GOALS AND MISSION OF THE ASSOCIATION ARE TO PROVIDE AND DEVELOP THE HIGHEST QUALITY AFFORDABLE HOUSING, ENSURING ITS LONG TERM FISCAL AND OPERATIONAL VIABILITY.
