TO ENCOURAGE WOMEN'S DISCIPLESHIP AROUND THE WORLD BY INITIATING, FACILITATING, AND FUNDING EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES; LAYING GROUNDWORK, TRAINING, AND TEACHING CLASSES; AND PROVIDING RESOURCES THAT BIBLICALLY TEACH OR TRAIN WOMEN; IN ADDITION, TO SUPPORT FINANCIALLY THOSE MISSIONARY-MINDED WOMEN JUST DISCOVERING, ACTIVELY TRAINING TOWARDS, OR FURTHERING THESE SAID GOALS. UNDERSTANDING THAT TO ACHIEVE THE END GOAL OF DISCIPLESHIP, WE MUST PROMOTE, SUPPORT, AND PARTICIPATE IN ANY ACTIVITY THAT WOULD DISCIPLE THE WOMEN THAT SERVE WITH US INTO MINISTRY, DEMONSTRATE THOSE BENEFITING FROM OUR SERVICES THE POSSIBILITIES OF WHAT THEY COULD PARTICIPATE IN, AND SHOW THOSE THAT SEE IT DONE WHAT THE END RESULT LOOKS LIKE. THE CRUX OF OUR TRAINING AND DISCIPLESHIP IS DONE THROUGH OUR GRACE WOMEN HOMES. THESE HOMES ARE MAINLY STATESIDE WHERE MORE MATURE WOMEN ARE MENTORING YOUNGER WOMEN TO HELP THEM DEVELOP INTO THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. ALONG WITH RUNNING THE HOMES, WE TAKE TRIPS DOMESTICALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY TO ENCOURAGE DEVELOPMENT. THE GOAL OF THE GRACE WOMEN HOMES IS TO DISCIPLE WOMEN INTO THEIR FULLEST SPIRITUAL MATURITY THROUGH TRAINING IN EVERY ASPECT OF LIFE SUCH AS MANAGING A BUDGET, A SCHEDULE, HOUSEHOLD CHORES, WORK, AND SCHOOL AS WELL AS BIBLE TRAINING, HOSPITALITY, AND MINISTRY.
REMAINING PROGRAMS INCLUDE PROGRAMS RELATED TO SERVING THE EASTERN SHORE AND OVERSEAS MISSIONS.
UP & OUT WAS CREATED TO HELP TRANSITION YOUNG ADULTS AND OFTEN FIRST GENERATION COLLEGE STUDENTS INTO ADULTHOOD. ASSISTANCE MAY COME IN THE FORM OF MENTORING, TUTORING, WORKING OUT FINANCES, HELPING TO FIND EMPLOYMENT, RUNNING TRAINING PROGRAMS, AND ON A DISCRETIONARY BASIS, MEETING SOME OF THEIR FINANCIAL NEEDS. THE PROGRAM NAME IS INDICATIVE OF THE DIRECTION WE HOPE THESE INDIVIDUALS, THAT WE WOULD HELP GIVE THEM A LEG UP SO THAT THEY CAN MAKE OUT IT OUT THERE ON THEIR OWN.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH - WE COLLAPSED OUR NUMEROUS AND LOCATION-SPECIFIC COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS INTO ONE COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM. WE REGULARLY REACH OUT TO THE COMMUNITY WITH VARIOUS EVENTS AND OUTREACH EFFORTS SUCH AS FALL FESTIVALS, CHRISTMAS AND EASTER FESTIVITIES AND YEAR-ROUND MEALS AND GATHERINGS. WE CONTINUE TO LOOK FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO REACH THE COMMUNITIES WHERE WE SERVE.
