THE WEISS SCHOOL'S MISSION IS TO FOSTER A COMMUNITY OF REFLECTIVE, COMPASSIONATE AND UNIQUE GIFTED LEARNERS. TO MOTIVATE AND STIMULATE LEARNERS THROUGH A DIFFERENTIATED CURRICULUM THAT PROMOTES GLOBAL AWARENESS, LEADERSHIP, CRITICAL THINKING AND PROBLEM SOLVING; UTILIZING ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY.

GIFTED PROGRAM: THE WEISS SCHOOL IS A SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN WHO NEED GIFTED SERVICES. WE UNDERSTAND THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF GIFTED CHILDREN, AND PROVIDE A HIGHLY INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAM THAT ADDRESSES CHALLENGES, BUILDS UPON STRENGTHS, AND UNLEASHES THE POTENTIAL OF EACH YOUNG MIND AND SPIRIT WE SERVE. THE SCHOOL PROVIDES AN ENVIRONMENT THAT GUIDES AND FOSTERS YOUR CHILD'S SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND INTELLECTUAL NEEDS. THIS SPECIALLY DESIGNED GIFTED PROGRAM AND CURRICULUM INSPIRES BRIGHT MINDS TO PURSUE LIVES OF CONTINUAL LEARNING, LEADERSHIP AND ACHIEVEMENT.IN OUR QUEST TO PREPARE OUR STUDENTS TO BE LEARNERS THAT MEET THE DEMANDS OF A HIGHLY TECHNOLOGICAL SOCIETY, WE HAVE AFFORDED THE CHILDREN AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH AN ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM. A ONE-TO-ONE PROGRAM WITH WIRELESS TABLET PCS FOR ALL FIFTH THROUGH EIGHTH GRADERS IS CURRENTLY IN USE. ALL TEXTBOOKS ARE ONLINE AND WRITTEN WORK IS SYNCHRONIZED FROM THE STUDENTS' LAPTOPS TO THOSE OF THE TEACHERS. STUDENTS IN THE ELEMENTARY GRADES USE CLASSROOM COMPUTER STATIONS AS WELL AS CLASSROOM SETS OF LAPTOP COMPUTERS FROM MOBILE LAPTOP CARTS. ALL CLASSROOMS INCLUDING MUSIC, BAND, ART, FOREIGN LANGUAGE AND TAEKWONDO ARE EQUIPPED WITH SMART BOARDS. THE WEISS SCHOOL IS PROUD OF THE TECHNOLOGICAL EXPERTISE IT INSTILLS IN ITS STUDENTS, WHILE ALSO BRINGING ABOUT AN APPRECIATION FOR AN ENVIRONMENTALLY GREEN AWARENESS.
AUXILIARY, AFTER CARE AND SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM: THE FINAL BELL SIGNALS THE BEGINNING OF MORE SCHOOL ACTIVITIES IN LEARNING, FITNESS AND PHYSICAL GROWTH. A DYNAMIC AND MEANINGFUL EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM IS LED BY CERTIFIED TEACHERS AND INSTRUCTORS WITH A PASSION FOR TAKING STUDENTS TO NEW HEIGHTS. CLASSES AND ACTIVITIES BASED ON STUDENTS INTERESTS AND PASSIONS CAN ALSO BE SEEN IN THE SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM, WHICH BEGINS AS THE SCHOOL YEAR ENDS AND CONTINUES UNTIL THE START OF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR.
