THE MISSION OF KIDS COOK IS TO IMPROVE THE OVREALL HEALTH OF SCHOOL CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH NUTRITION AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY EDUCATION, BY INVOLVING THEM IN HANDS-ON LEARNING ABOUT CULTURALLY DIVERSE FOODS THAT ARE HEALTHY AND APPEALING WHILE TEACHING THE BENEFITS OF DAILY EXERCISE.

CONTINUED RELATIONSHIP WITH PRESBYTERIAN COMMUNITY HEALTH RESOURCE CENTER PROVIDING COMMUNITY NUTRITION, COOKING AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY EDUCATION WITH ONLINE COOKING CLASSES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. PARTNERSHIP WITH THREE SISTERS KITCHEN AND PRESBYTERIAN COMMUNITY HEALTH RESOURCE CENTER AT THE REFRESH MOBILE FARMERS MARKET PROVIDING NUTRITION EDUCATION TO SNAP ELIGIBLE FAMILIES TO RECEIVE FRESH PRODUCE WEEKLY. PARTNERSHIP WITH PRESBYTERIAN COMMUNITY HEALTH RESOURCE CENTER PROVIDING NUTRITION EDUCATION AND COOKING SKILLS ONLINE DURING THE SUMMER MOBILE FARMERS MARKET PROGRAM.
