THE NEWIEE AWARDS GALA RECOGNIZES THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF WOMEN IN THE ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SECTORS. THE EVENT WAS HELD AT THE WESTIN BOSTON WATERFRONT, ON MAY 1, 2018, AND WAS ATTENDED BY 530 ATTENDEES. THE FOLLOWING AWARDEES WERE RECOGNIZED: LEADERSHIP AWARDEE: LISA SZEWCZUL, VP, ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY, PRATT AND WHITNEY ACHIEVEMENT AWARDEES JANET COIT, DIRECTOR, RHODE ISLAND DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT EMILY REICHERT, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, GREENTOWN LABS RISING STAR AWARDEE: KATE BASHFORD EPSEN, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, NH SUSTAINABLE ENERGY ASSOCIATION

THE NEWIEE ANNUAL MEETING AND FALL FETE PROVIDES NETWORKING AND MENTORING FOR MEMBERS WITH ACCESS TO NEWIEE'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND ADVISORY BOARD IN A NETWORKING ENVIRONMENT.
