IS A NON-PROFIT THAT OPERATES AFFORDABLE OUTPATIENT CLINICAL RECOVERY PROGRAMS IN-PERSON IN ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA AND VIRTUALLY IN CALIFORNIA, VIRGINIA AND DC FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISORDERED EATING AND PROVIDES VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON SUPPORT AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS FOR COMMUNITIES NATIONWIDE.

ROCK RECOVERY'S OUTPATIENT CLINICAL RECOVERY PROGRAMS SERVED 124 CLIENTS AND PROVIDED 2,430 HOURS OF THERAPY/CLINICAL SERVICES TO CLIENTS AND THEIR SUPPORT NETWORKS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. ADDITIONALLY, THE PROGRAM PROVIDED MENTORSHIP TO ALL INTERESTED CLIENTS. ROCK RECOVERY SENT REFERRALS AND/OR COMPLETED PRE-SCREEN SESSIONS WITH 360 INTERESTED CLIENTS TO GET THEM THE HELP THEY NEED IN ROCK RECOVERY'S PROGRAM OR A HIGHER LEVEL OF CARE.
ROCK COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING DIRECTLY SERVED 1,215 COMMUNITY MEMBERS THROUGH 28 VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON COMMUNITY EVENTS. EVENTS INCLUDED WORKSHOPS AND SUPPORT GROUPS ON HOW TO SUPPORT LOVED ONES STRUGGLING, HOW TO START THE RECOVERY JOURNEY AND PROCESS, AND HOW TO BUILD POSITIVE BODY IMAGE AND OVERCOME DISORDERED EATING. ADDITIONAL EVENTS WERE GEARED TOWARDS CHURCHES AND THOSE IN THE FAITH COMMUNITY TO HELP SUPPORT MEMBERS OF THE CONGREGATION WHO MAY BE BATTLING DISORDERED EATING. OTHER EVENTS INCLUDED FUN RUNS AND FITNESS EVENTS TO ENGAGE THE PUBLIC AND DECREASE STIGMA FOR THOSE STRUGGLING WITH FOOD AND BODY IMAGE.
