THE ORGANIZATION PLANS AND PRODUCES THE HYDE PARK JAZZ FESTIVAL. THE TWO-DAY FREE FESTIVAL IN ITS 14TH YEAR BROUGHT TOGETHER SOME OF THE REGION'S BEST JAZZ PERFORMERS AS WELL AS NATIONAL ARTISTS TO THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHICAGO AND ATTRACTED NEARLY 15,000 ATTENDEES. AUDIENCE MEMBERS ARE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE MUSIC PERFORMED IN SOME OF THE SOUTH SIDE'S LEADING CULTURAL INSTITUTIONS AND VENUES INCLUDING: THE LOGAN CENTER FOR THE ARTS, ROCKEFELLER CHAPEL, THE SMART MUSEUM, THE HYDE PARK BANK, LITTLE BLACK PEARL, THE ORIENTAL INSTITUTE, HYDE PARK UNION CHURCH, SMART MUSEUM, AUGUSTANA CHURCH, THE INTERNATIONAL HOUSE, AND THE MIDWAY PLIASANCE. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS OCCASIONAL CONCERTS AND HOSTS OTHER CULTURAL PROGRAMS.
