THE MISSION OF THE BUGLE BOY FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE A PREMIER LISTENING ROOM VENUE FOR AFFORDABLE PUBLIC PERFORMANCES BY PROFESSIONAL MUSICIANS OF ORIGINAL WORKS OF DIVERSE GENRES, FOR THE ENRICHMENT OF FAYETTE COUNTY, TEXAS RESIDENTS AND VISITORS. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS MUSIC EDUCATION BY SPONSORING ARTIST-LED CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAMS FOR THE BENEFIT OF AREA RESIDENTS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

LIVE MUSIC CONCERTS: ORGANIZATION PROVIDES CONCERTS AT WHICH THE PUBLIC CAN AFFORDABLY LISTEN TO A WIDE ARRAY OF UNIQUE MUSICAL ARTISTS IN A LISTENING ROOM ENVIRONMENT. THE LISTENING PUBLIC EXPERIENCES AN ECLECTIC MIX OF MANY DIVERSE MUSICAL GENRES, TASTES AND STYLES. DURING 2022, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 82 LIVE CONCERT LISTENING EXPERIENCES TO 2,156 PEOPLE, AGES 12 & OLDER, AND 1,060 ON-LINE VIEWERS, WITH SEVERAL CONCERTS CANCELED DUE TO ILLNESS. THESE VIEWERS WERE FROM AROUND THE WORLD INCLUDING EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, NEW ZEALAND, JAPAN, AND CANADA, AND MOST STATES WITHIN THE UNITED STATES.


OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE: THE SWAN SONG PROGRAM, FULFILLING END OF LIFE MUSICAL WISHES, PROVIDED 2 SWAN SONG CONCERTS FOR HOSPICE PATIENTS,WITH 52 ATTENDEES, INCLUDING PATIENTS, RESIDENTS AND CARE GIVERS. WE PROVIDED SONGWRITING WORKSHOPS TO 10 SPECIAL NEEDS YOUNG ADULTS WITH PERFORMANCE FOR FAMILY/FRIENDS/CAREGIVERS WITH 43 ATTENDEES.


SOLDIER SONGS & VOICES FOR VETERANS: ORGANIZATION PROVIDED OPPORTUNITIES FOR ON-LINE GUITAR OR SONG WRITING INSTRUCTION THROUGH PARTNERSHIP WITH O.Y.O.U. IN ADDITION, VETERANS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND ON-LINE SOLDIERS SONGS & VOICES WORKSHOPS AND REVEILLE WORKSHOP IN MORAVIA. VETERANS WERE GIVEN RECORDING OPPORTUNITIES AT THE BUGLE BOY VENUE FOR MUSIC WRITTEN IN THEIR SOLDIER SONGS CHAPTER OR REVEILLE WORKSHOP.


NURSING HOME CONCERTS: ORGANIZATION SPONSORS CONCERTS FOR NURSING HOME RESIDENTS AT 4 AREA NURSING HOMES IN FAYETTE COUNTY. THE MUSIC HELPS DISPEL ANXIETY AND ALLEVIATE A SENSE OF LONELINESS AND ISOLATION FOR THE RESIDENTS. IN 2022 THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 12 NURSING HOME CONCERTS TO A TOTAL OF 419 RESIDENTS AND STAFF.
