TO PROMOTE THE UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE HISTORY OF MINERAL POINT AS WELL AS OF THE HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF THEATRICAL AND PERFORMANCE SPACES BY PLANNING, OVERSEEING AND COMPLETING THE RESTORATION OF THE INTERIOR SPACE OF THE MINERAL POINT OPERA HOUSE. TO PROMOTE THE UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF CULTURAL OPPORTUNITIES IN THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING A PROFESSIONAL PERFORMANCE SPACE FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS. TO PROVIDE CULTURAL AND ART APPRECIATION OPPORTUNITIES TO THE COMMUNITY BY SCHEDULING PERFORMANCES BY A VARIETY OF PROFESSIONAL PERFORMERS.
