VENICE CHALLENGER BASEBALL IS A BASEBALL LEAGUE DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO ARENT ABLE TO PLAY BASEBALL IN THE USUAL WAY. IT BEGAN IN 1998 AND BECAME A 501C3 ORGANIZATION IN 2008. THE PROGRAM BEGAN WITH A HANDFUL OF CHILDREN AND HAS GROWN TO OVER 100 PLAYERS OF ALL AGES.VCB ALLOWS EVERY PLAYER TO BAT AND PLAY IN THE FIELD EVERY INNING. SIBLINGS, FRIENDS, ORGANIZATIONS SUCH AS LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS AND CLUBS, POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS, AS WELL AS LOCAL BUSINESSES PROVIDE OUR BUDDIES. BUDDIES HELP CHALLENGER PLAYERS AT BAT, AROUND THE BASES AND PLAYING IN THE FIELD. THE WHOLE FAMILY AND COMMUNITY GETS INVOLVED. BEST OF ALL, ITS FREE TO JOIN AND ALL ARE WELCOME!
