BUILDING A SUSTAINABLE, GEOGRAPHICALLY DISTRIBUTED DARK ARCHIVE WITH WHICH TO ENSURE THE LONG-TERM SURVIVAL OF WEB-BASED SCHOLARLY PUBLICATIONS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE GREATER GLOBAL RESEARCH COMMUNITY. THE CLOCKSS ARCHIVE GREW BY 3.3 MILLION JOURNAL ARTICLES, TO 53 MILLION,AND BOOK HOLDINGS INCREASED BY 6% TO 467,000. CONTENT HAS BEEN ADDED TO THE ARCHIVE FROM 556 PARTICIPATING PUBLISHERS INCLUDING 82 NEW ONES. ONE NEW LIBRARY BECAME A CLOCKSS SUPPORTER, AND THIS IS UTRECHT UNIVERSITY IN THE NETHERLANDS.
