KENSAP OPERATES A RESIDENTIAL COLLEGE ACCESS PROGRAM FOR HIGH-ACHIEVING, LOW-INCOME KENYAN HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES. KENSAP HOSTED A RESIDENTIAL COLLEGE ACCESS PROGRAM FOR A FEW MONTHS FOR 22 STUDENTS AND 4 STAFF MEMBERS IN 2021. THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM FOCUSES EFFORTS ON COLLEGE APPLICATIONS WORKSHOPS AND COLLEGE-STYLE SEMINARS TO PREPARE APPLICATIONS FOR UNIVERSITY ADMISSION AND TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR UNIVERSITY IN THE UNITED STATES. DONATIONS COVER THE COSTS OF THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM INCLUDING ACCOMMODATIONS, MEALS, TRANSPORTATION, ALONG WITH THE COSTS OF APPLYING TO UNIVERSITY ABROAD AND SALARIES FOR STAFF. IN ADDITION, KENSAP SUPPORTS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMING FOR OUR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS AND RECENT UNIVERSITY GRADUATES.
