COMMUNITY SUPPORT ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE GOODWILL AMONG CITIZENS LOCALLY, NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY. THE SUPPORT COULD BE IN THE FORM OF CASH CONTRIBUTIONS DIRECTLY TO ORGANIZATIONS DIRECTLY PROVIDING THE ACTIVITIES OR SUPPORT SERVICES SUCH AS MANPOWER AND/OR DIRECT SUPPORT IN THE PROVISION OF MATERIAL AND SUPPLIES.

ORGANIZATION FUNDS WERE USED FOR VARIOUS COMMUNITY SUPPORT ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: GRANTS ARE MADE TO NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AS PART OF THE FOUNDATION'S COMMITMENT TO ADDRESS IDENTIFIED NEEDS. THESE INCLUDED VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING FOLKMOOT, BLUE RIDGE HONOR FLIGHT, MEALS ON WHEELS AND THE SALVATION ARMY. THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT OF PROJECTS IN HONDURUS AND GUATEMALA. -DURING NORMAL YEARS WE PROVIDE HEALTH AND DENTAL CARE DURING A THREE DAY MEDICAL/DENTAL CLINIC IN COPAN RUINAS, HONDURAS. DUE TO COVID, WE WERE UNABLE TO MAKE THE TRIP. INSTEAD OF MAKING THE TRIP, WE SENT FUNDS TO HELP IN THEIR COVID RECOVERY. -GUATEMALA SIMPLE SCHOOL - THE SIMPLE SCHOOL PROJECT IS FACILITATED THROUGH ROTARY INTERNATIONAL WITH A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN CLUBS IN ROTARY DISTRICT 7670 AND THE ROTARY E-CLUB OF LAKE ATITLAN IN PANAJACHEL, GUATEMALA. THE PROJECT IS FACILITATING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A THREE CLASSROOM SCHOOL SERVING SIXTY CHILDREN AGES 3 THROUGH 1ST GRADE IN THE VILLAGE OF TZANCHAJ NEAR ATITLAN.
