FARTHER FOUNDATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS AND SUPPORT FOR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN EDUCATIONAL TRAVEL EXPERIENCES THAT ARE SIGNIFICANT AND LIFE CHANGING. THE FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TO IDENTIFY STUDENTS WHO DEMONSTRATE COMMITMENT TO SUCCESS THROUGH ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, PARTICIPATION IN SUPPORT PROGRAMS AND A WILLINGNESS TO TAKE A BOLD STEP BEYOND THE FAMILIAR. SINCE ITS INCEPTION, THE FOUNDATION HAS PROVIDED 975,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS TO 350 STUDENTS WHO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN PROGRAMS IN 28 STATES AND 42 COUNTRIES ON 6 CONTINENTS. 100% OF PARTICIPATING STUDENTS HAVE GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AND 97% HAVE GONE DIRECTLY TO COLLEGE. 88% OF THOSE HAVE EITHER EARNED A DEGREE OR REMAIN ON TRACK TO EARN A DEGREE.
