Part 3 - Line 4a
BRONX ACADEMY OF PROMISE PRIDES ITSELF ON THE ABILITY TO PRODUCE A HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATION THAT RAISES STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT WHILE ATTENDING TO THE SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS OF EACH INDIVIDUAL STUDENT. AS IN PREVIOUS YEARS OUR COMMITMENT FOCUSED ON THE INDIVIDUALIZED ACADEMIC PROGRESS OF EACH STUDENT WHILE SUPPORTING THEIR SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS. TO THIS GOAL, WE CONTINUED TO IMPLEMENT THE SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL PROGRAM, SECOND STEP, TO ASSIST THE STAFF WITH A VARIETY OF ISSUES. THIS PROFESSIONAL LEARNING PROGRAM FOR K12 EDUCATORS IS DESIGNED TO BUILD TRUST, HELP MANAGE STRESS, EXPLORE EQUITY AND BELONGING, AND CULTIVATE RESILIENCE AND EFFICACY. BAOP CONTINUES TO BELIEVE THAT CONSISTENCY, COLLABORATION AND SMALL INDIVIDUALIZED INSTRUCTION IS WHAT IS BEST FOR OUR STUDENTS. DURING THE 2022-2023 SCHOOL YEAR WE CONTINUED TO IMPLEMENT THE I-READY PROGRAM TO HELP SUPPORT ACADEMIC PROGRESS. I-READY PROGRAMS SUPPORT EVERY LEARNER ON THEIR PATH TOWARD GRADE-LEVEL SUCCESS. BY CONNECTING TO ACTIONABLE, INTUITIVE DATA, TEACHERS KNOW WHERE TO FOCUS AND STUDENTS BECOME MORE CAPABLE AND ENGAGED. IN ADDITION, BAOP ADDED A PRE-K PROGRAM TO THE SCHOOL COMMUNITY IN ORDER TO PROVIDE CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR OUR FAMILIES WITH YOUNGER CHILDREN, WHILE BUILDING A BRIDGE FOR OUR KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM. FURTHERMORE, BAOP IMPLEMENTED AN AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES ADDITIONAL ACADEMIC SUPPORT WHILE OFFERING UNIQUE EXPERIENCES SUCH AS CHESS AND KARATE, ONCE AGAIN SUPPORTING OUR FAMILIES.BRONX ACADEMY OF PROMISE CONTINUES TO STRIVE TO PRODUCE A HIGH-QUALITY EDUCATIONAL SETTING THAT ATTENDS TO THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF EVERY STUDENT AND OUR PREK PROGRAM HAS BEEN CREATED WITH THAT SAME MISSION. WE BELIEVE THAT OUR INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY AND PERSONAL APPROACH CONTINUES TO PROVIDE FOR SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCES, SO IMPORTANT IN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD YEARS. WE EMBRACE A LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT HAS PREPARED OUR PREK STUDENTS FOR THEIR PATHS AHEAD. OUR CLASSES INCORPORATE TRADITIONAL LEARNING STYLES AS WELL AS HANDS-ON EXPERIENCES WHILE HIGHLIGHTING THE AREAS OF ELA, MATH, SCIENCE, SOCIAL STUDIES, ART, MUSIC, PE, AND TECHNOLOGY. IN ADDITION, OUR WARM AND LOVING ENVIRONMENT HELPS OUR STUDENTS AND PARENTS TO BECOME OUR NEWEST "FAMILY MEMBERS" WHERE WE MEET THEM WHEREVER NECESSARY TO MEET THEIR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS.
