THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION IS A REGISTERED 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION. THE ASSOCIATION EXISTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING AND REGULATING COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOOTBALL COMPETITION IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA REGION. ALL REVENUE RECEIVED IS THROUGH MEMBERSHIP DUES FROM PARTICIPATING COLLEGES THE COMPETE UNDER THE SANCTIONED AREAS IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA REGION, OF WHICH THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR. ALL EXPENSES PAID BY THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION ARE FOR THE SOLE BENEFIT OF RULING AND REGULATING COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOOTBALL COMPETITION. THE SCFA PROVIDES ATHLETIC ADMINISTRATION SERVICES TO 37 COMMUNITY COLLEGES LOCATED IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BY REGULATING AND GOVERNING FOOTBALL ATHLETIC COMPETITION, ENFORCEMENT OF RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION AND COMPETITION BY PARTICIPATING TEAMS AND STUDENT ATHLETES, ASSIGNING AND PROVIDING LICENSED GAME OFFICIALS FOR COMPETITIVE PLAY, PROVIDING AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES FOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND COMPETITIVE EXCELLENCE, ASSIST WITH THE ARRANGEMENT OF AND PROVIDING RESOURCES TO MEMBER COLLEGES TO SECURE ATHLETIC VENUES FOR COMPETITIVE PLAY, PROVIDE A PUBLIC SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM FOR ALL MEMBER COLLEGES TO HIGHLIGHT ATHLETIC COMPETITION TEAM STATISTICS OF ALL PARTICIPATING MEN'S AND WOMEN'S SPORTS AND INDIVIDUAL STUDENT ATHLETE STATISTICS FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECRUITMENT BY COLLEGIATE UNIVERSITIES AND PROFESSIONAL ATHLETIC TEAMS.
