MISSION: TO COMBAT GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE, HUMAN TRAFFICKING, AND CHILD LABOR AND THE UNDERLYING CAUSES USING A CULTURALLY SENSITIVE COMMUNITY-BASED APPROACH. TOTAL AMOUNT CONTRIBUTED TOWARD PROGRAMS IN GHANA -- $84,766 DREAM ON OPERATES IN MANY LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT GHANA TO PROVIDE REHABILITATIVE CARE AND PROTECTION FOR SURVIVORS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING, SEXUAL VIOLENCE, AND CHILD LABOR. DREAM ON COLLABORATES WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE (DSW), NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS, AND SEVERAL PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN GHANA TO ENSURE CHILDREN ARE ENROLLED IN SCHOOLAND RECEIVE PROPER SUPERVISION, SHELTER, SECURITY, FOOD, EDUCATIONAL PROVISIONS, MEDICAL CARE, AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT. IN 2022, DREAM ON CONTINUED TO OPERATE THE DREAM ON RESIDENTIAL HOME IN ACCRA, GHANA. DREAM ON RESIDENTS HAVE MADE TREMENDOUS PROGRESS THROUGHOUT THE YEARS. ALL BUT ONE RESIDENT ARE ADULTS AND ENROLLED IN COLLEGE OR VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS. ONE RESIDENT ATTENDS HIGH SCHOOL AND REMAINS UNDER FOSTER CARE AND THE SUPERVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE.
