SINCE 1956, THE WILMINGTON BALLET ACADEMY OF THE DANCE HAS BEEN DEDICATED TO PROVIDING SUPERIOR CLASSICAL BALLET TRAINING TO STUDENTS OF ALL AGES IN THE WILMINGTON AREA TO FOSTER DISCIPLINE, CONFIDENCE, POISE, AND COMMITMENT. IN ADDITION, WE PROVIDE OUR STUDENTS WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO PERFORM WITH WORLD CLASS ARTISTS AND LIVE MUSIC.

PERFORMANCES - PERFORMANCES INCLUDE THE NUTCRACKER, A SPRING PERFORMANCE, AND OTHER PERFORMANCES PERFORMED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FEATURING ACADEMY OF THE DANCE STUDENTS.
DANCE EDUCATION & OUTREACH - THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS TRAINING IN BALLET, MODERN, MUSICAL THEATER, JAZZ, HIP HOP, CLASSICAL AND CONTEMPORARY CHOREOGRAPHY, AS WELL AS ACTING AND VOCAL PERFORMANCE TECHNIQUES. THE ORGANIZATION'S CURRICULUM WAS INTENTIONALLY CREATED TO NURTURE THE WHOLE ARTIST IN IMMERSIVE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES, IN PREPARATION FOR WELL ROUNDED ARTS CAREERS.
