PACIFIC WRECKS CONDUCTED A FIELD EXPEDITION TO THE SOLOMON ISLAND TO SEARCH FOR MISSING IN ACTION MIA AMERICAN PERSONNEL AND AIRCRAFT USING LOCAL INFORMANTS AND HISTORICAL RESEARCH. THIS EXPEDITION WAS MOUNTED IN GUADALCANAL PROVINCE AND WESTERN PROVINCE AND RESULTED IN THE DOCUMENTATION OF AMERICAN AND JAPANESE WORLD WAR II AIRCRAFT AND HISTORICAL SITES.
PACIFIC WRECKS PRIVIDES FREE RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS SERVICES FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC RELATED TO WROLD WAR II PACIFIC AND THE KOREAN WAR. DURING 2017. A TOTAL OF 1242 INDIVIDUAL RESEARCH PROJECTS WERE UNDERTAKEN USING PRIMARY RECORDS IN THE UNITED ESTATES, AUSTRALIA, PAPUA NEW GUINEA, NEW ZEALAND AND JAPAN, PLUS SECONDARY SOURCES INCLUDING PUBLISHED BOOKS AND INDEPENDENT RESEARCH.
