MISSION: GIVING HOPE TO THE HOPELESS THROUGH CHRIST-CENTERED RECOVERY, RESTORATION, AND REDIRECTION RESULTING IN PRODUCTIVE LIVES.

Part 3 - Line 4a
HOUSING PROVIDED FOR MEN AND WOMEN SEEKING RECOVERY FROM SUBSTANCE-ABUSE ADDICTIONS. EACH AND AND WOMAN SPENT APPROXIMATELY 40-50 HOURS PER WEEK IN DISCIPLESHIP-RELATED ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS CLASSES, COUNSELING, AND MENTORING. DURING THIS TIME, EACH PERSON ATTEND CLASSES APPROXIMATELY 10 TIMES PER WEEK THAT FOCUSED ON BIBLICAL-RELATED STUDIES. CARE FOR PROVIDED 365 DAYS IN 2021. THOSE WHO STAYED THE ENTIRE RECOVERY TIME WERE THERE BETWEEN 6 AND 15 MONTHS AT A TIME. THE OBJECTIVE IS TO HELP PEOPLE BECOME AUTHENTIC CHRISTIANS WHO NO LONGER DEPEND ON ALCOHOL/DRUGS, ARE STAYING OUT OF LEGAL TROUBLE, ARE PHYSICALLY HEALTHY, AND ARE PRODUCTIVE MEMBERS OF THEIR FAMILIES AND SOCIETY. PERSONS ALSO LEARN TO LIVE IN A FAMILY SETTING, THEY LEARN HOW TO COOK AND CARE FOR THEMSELVES, LEARN TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS, THEY LEARN TO BE ACCOUNTABLE, THEY LEARN TO LIVE IN A DISCIPLINED LIFESTYLE, AND THEY LEARN HOW TO RESPECT AUTHORITY. ALL OF THEIR NEEDS ARE MET FOR THEM WHILE IN THE PROGRAM, INCLUDING HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, UTILITIES, FOOD, STUDY MATERIALS, MEETINGS WITH LEGAL AUTHORITIES, AND OTHER NEEDS.
RETURN-TO-WORK/AFTER-CARE: PERSONS IN THE PROGRAM ARE TAUGHT SKILLS SO THAT THEY CAN RETURN TO WORK AT THE COMPLETION OF THEIR TREATMENT. THEY LEARN WORK SKILLS, SUCH AS SHEETROCK, FLOORING, RETAIL SKILLS, RETAIL ASSEMBLY, AND OTHER JOB TRAINING SKILLS. BY USING A NETWORK OF EMPLOYERS WHO ARE WILLING TO HIRE PEOPLE WITH FELONY RECORDS, PEOPLE COMPLETING THE PROGRAM HAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO BECOME EMPLOYED SO THAT THEY CAN WORK AND SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES. AN OBJECTIVE IS TO HELP PEOPLE TO BECOME INDEPENDENT OF SUPPORT SYSTEMS. THEY CAN LEARN SOFT SKILLS, SUCH AS RESUME WRITING, JOB INTERVIEWING TECHNIQUES, FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT, AND BUDGETING SKILLS. AN ASPECT OF AFTER-CARE IS MONITORING THEIR FINANCES SO THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO PAY OFF OUTSTANDING BILLS, OBTAIN A PERSONAL VEHICLE, OBTAIN HOUSING, AND LEARN TO LIVE ON THEIR OWN. THEY LEARN HO TO PARENT THEIR CHILDREN AND RAISE THEM AS THEY SHOULD BE RAISED. EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO DESIRE TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL.
FAMILIES RECEIVE COUNSELING TO HELP THEM RECOVER AND HEAL. THEY LEARN HOW TO BE GODLY MOTHERS AND FATHERS AS THEY SEEK RESTORATION WITH THEIR CHILDREN. THEY LEARN HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY PARENT THEIR CHILDREN AND BREAK THE GENERATIONAL CYCLES. THEY LEARN HOW TO SET BOUNDARIES AND BECOME FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE LEARNING TO LIVE AND WORK TOGETHER. THEY LEARN HOW TO LIVE LIFE TOGETHER OUTSIDE OF A CONFINED ENVIRONMENT.
