THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO FACILITATE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS. THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE IS TO SUPPORT ACTIVITIES THAT LEAD TO THE CREATION OF FIRE SAFE COMMUNITIES IN THE SIERRA NEVADA COUNTIES OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

THE ORGANIZATION HAS BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN DEVELOPING ECONOMIC GROWTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL INTEGRITY THROUGH BRUSH CLEARING, FOREST MAINTENANCE AND FIRE SAFE MEASURES. WE HAVE BEEN CONTRACTED BY INDIVIDUALS,FIRE SAFE COUNCILS, THE U S FOREST SERVICE, AND THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE TO PERFORM SERVICES AND HAVE EMPLOYED CREWS OF SIX TO FORTY SEVEN PEOPLE AT A TIME WHEN JOBS HAVE BEEN SCARCE IN THE AREA.
