INDIGO CULTURAL CENTER IS COMMITTED TO THE STUDY OF CULTURE, THE ENACTMENT OF CULTURE, THE CELEBRATION OF CULTURE, AND USING THE STRENGTH IN ONES CULTURE TO PROMOTE SOCIAL JUSTICE AND RACIAL EQUITY.

OVER THE PAST FISCAL YEAR INDIGO CULTURAL CENTER PROVIDED ONGOING RACIAL EQUITY CONSULTATION AND SOCIAL JUSTICE TRAINING WITH SEVERAL STATE AND COUNTY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF OUR ORGANIZATION DR. SHIVERS DELIVERED FIVE KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS AT VARIOUS EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCES. INDIGO CULTURAL CENTER PROVIDED POLICY CONSULTATION ON THREE FEDERALLY-FUNDED PROJECTS. OUR ORGANIZATION IMPLEMENTED AND LED RESEARCH EVALUATIONS ON ONE NATIONAL STUDY THREE STATEWIDE STUDIES AND FOUR COMMUNITY/COUNTY-LEVEL EARLY CHILDHOOD INITIATIVES.
