TO ADDRESS AND SUPPORT THE SOCIAL/CULTURAL, EMOTIONAL, MENTAL, SPIRITUAL, AND PHYSICAL NEEDS OF NATIVE POPLE OF ALL TRIBES LIVING IN THE BISMARCK-MANDAN AND SURROUNDING AREA IN ORDER TO FOSTER STRONG, SELF-SUFFICIENT INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES, AND TO PROVIDE LIAISON SERVICES BETWEEN NATIVE AND NON-NATIVE PEOPLE IN ORDER TO FOSTER A COHESIVE COMMUNITY.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT - SPRC PROVIDED SERVICES TO THE AMERICAN INDIAN COMMUNITY BY COORDINATING ACTIVITIES OF HEALTH FAIRS, CROSS-CULTURAL AND DIVERSITY EVENTS, AND FAMILY-BUILDING ACTIVITIES.


YOUTH ENGAGEMENT - SPRC PROVIDED SPECIFIC SERVICES TO AMERICAN INDIAN YOUTH TO HELP ADDRESS THE OVERREPRESENTATION OF YOUTH IN THE JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM AND PROVIDE POSITIVE CULTURAL EXPERIENCE AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT.
