THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO GAIN MORAL AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE WORK OF EDUCATING DEAF CHILDREN AT THE BUEA SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF IN CAMEROON ON THE

FOBSD SUPPORTED THE SCHOOL BY PAYING SALARIES FOR THEIR GROWING STAFF FOR THE YEAR AND PROVIDING FUNDS TO SUPPLEMENT FOOD SUPPLIES FOR THE CHILDREN, AND TRANSPORTATION AND REPAIR COSTS FOR THE SCHOOL. ADDITIONAL FUNDS SUPPORTED TUTORS WHO ADDED TO THE EDUCATION OF OLDER STUDENTS PARTICIPATING IN CONTINUING EDUCATION IN THE PUBLIC SECTOR. WITH SUPPORT FROM FOBSD, BSD HAS ADAPTED TO THE CRITICAL POLITICAL CHALLENGES IN CAMEROON. CHILDREN HAVE RETURNED FROM DESTROYED VILLAGES OR CONTINUE STUDIES WITH TEACHERS THROUGH WHATSAPP CONNECTIONS. IN CREDIT TO BSD, SOME GRADUATES HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED AND ARE DOING WELL AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BUEA.
