IN 2021 HEARTCRY FOR CHANGE CONTINUED ITS MANDATE TO FACILITATE CHURCHES AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGH TEACHING, TRAINING AND RESOURCES TO CONNECT WITH THEIR COMMUNITIES AND CARRY AN ENCOURAGING CHRISTIAN MESSAGE OF HOPE WITH A GENEROUS, PRACTICAL DEMONSTRATION OF KINDNESS TOWARDS THE POOR AND BROKEN IN OUR COMMUNITIES. HEARTCRY CONTINUED TO RESOURCE AND SERVE CHURCHES, LEADERS NETWORKS, INTERNSHIPS AND PRAYER NETWORKS ACROSS THE UNITED STATES. THE MINISTRY ALSO SERVED 10 OTHER NATIONS AROUND THE WORLD INCLUDING CANADA, UK, EUROPE AND AUSTRALIA. ALL OF THESE OPPORTUNITIES INVOLVED SPEAKING AT TRAINING EVENTS, RETREATS AND CONFERENCES, LEADING LEADERSHIP SEMINARS AND HOSTING SMALLER INFORMAL LEADERSHIP MENTORING GATHERINGS. THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MENTORING LEADERS AND THEIR TEAMS HAVE CONTINUED TO GROW AND MUCH TIME HAS BEEN SPENT ON DEVELOPING STRATEGY WITH LEADERSHIP TEAMS AND HELPING CHURCHES CONNECT WITH, AND SERVE, THEIR COMMUNITIES ESPECIALLY DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. HEARTCRY FOR CHANGE HAS ALSO CONTINUED TO OFFER A WIDE RANGE OF TEACHING AND TRAINING RESOURCES THROUGH THE ORGANIZATIONS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS, NOTABLY FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE AND IGTV. THE MESSAGE OF HOPE PROGRAM OF ONLINE DAILY MEDITATIONS, INSPIRATIONAL TEACHING AND PASTORAL SUPPORT HAVE BEEN ACCESSED BY 45 NATIONS AND GREATLY EXPANDED THE ORGANIZATIONS SPHERE OF SERVICE SINCE THE PANDEMIC BEGAN. THESE RESOURCES HAVE BEEN PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE IN LINE WITH HEARTCRYS CHARITABLE PURPOSES AND HAVE ATTRACTED DONATIONS INTO THE MINISTRY FROM THOSE WHO HAVE WANTED TO PARTNER WITH HEARTCRY TO FURTHER ITS PUBLIC BENEFIT AT SUCH A CRITICAL TIME. THE MENTORING OF LEADERS HAS ALSO CONTINUED VIA ZOOM THROUGHOUT THIS PERIOD WHERE TRAVEL WAS RESTRICTED OR LOCAL REGULATIONS PROHIBITED IN PERSON GATHERINGS. HEARTCRY FOR CHANGE ALSO CONTINUES TO SUPPORT SOCIAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS IN THE NATIONS. OUR MAIN AREA OF SOCIAL ACTION INVESTMENT HAS BEEN THROUGH A CONTINUATION OF THE ORGANIZATIONS WORK INTO SOME OF THE POOREST COMMUNITIES IN EASTERN EUROPE, NOTABLY OUR PARTNERSHIPS IN MOLDOVA, WHERE WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL RESOURCES AS WELL AS LEADERSHIP TRAINING AND MENTORING SUPPORT TO WORKERS ON THE GROUND THERE. THE BUILDING WORK ON THE CHURCH AND COMMUNITY CENTER WAS COMPLETED IN 2021 AND THE BUILDING NOW PROVIDES SPACE FOR YOUTH WORK, SUPPORT FOR VULNERABLE MOTHERS AND CHILDREN AS WELL AS A SHELTER FOR YOUNG GIRLS WHO ARE AT RISK FROM HUMAN TRAFFICKING. WITH THE ADDITIONAL HARDSHIP EXPERIENCED BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC, HEARTCRY FOR CHANGE INCREASED ITS FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF THESE PROGRAMS OVER THE WINTER MONTHS OF 2021. WE WERE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROVISION OF COAL AND FOOD PARCELS FOR 450 FAMILIES IN RURAL COMMUNITIES IN MOLDOVA. DUE TO THE TRAVEL BANS THE TEAM WAS NOT ABLE TO VISIT THE PROJECTS IN PERSON BUT WE DID RECEIVE REGULAR UPDATES FROM OUR PARTNERS ON THE GROUND AND HEARTCRY WAS ABLE TO SHARE THE PROGRESS OF EACH PROJECT WITH DONORS AND SUPPORTERS VIA EMAIL NEWSLETTERS AND VIDEO UPDATES. WE CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OUR WEBSITE AND MARKETING INFORMATION TO ENABLE PEOPLE TO CONNECT WITH US. OUR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS (FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE & INSTAGRAM) HAVE INCREASED INTEREST AND RAISED OUR PROFILE AND THE BLOG FOR THE SOCIAL OUTREACH PROGRAMS IN MOLDOVA HAS GIVEN DONORS A GREATER SENSE OF PARTNERSHIP. PRAYER INFORMATION AND MINISTRY REPORTS WERE SUPPLIED REGULARLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR BY EMAIL NEWSLETTER AND ONLINE VIA THE MINISTRYS WEBSITE AND THERE HAS ALSO BEEN A DEDICATED PROJECT PAGE WITH UPDATES ON THE SOCIAL PROJECTS SUCH AS THE WORK IN MOLDOVA AND THE LONDON PRAYER PROJECT.
