THE MISSION OF ASBURY WOODS IS TO INSPIRE A GREATER CONNECTION TO THE NATURAL WORLD BY PROTECTING, MANAGING AND INTERPRETING OUR PROPERTY; PROVIDING OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES; AND OFFERING ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS.

ASBURY WOODS PRESENTED COMMUNITY PROGRAMS & FESTIVALS ATTENDED BY THOUSANDS OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND SCHOOL CHILDREN WHO PARTICIPATED IN COMMUNITY PROGRAMS, OUTDOOR RECREATION, FESTIVALS AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS SUCH AS BEEKEEPING, NATURE PRESCHOOL SUMMER CAMPS, GUIDED HIKES, INTERPRETIVE WALKS, CROSS COUNTRY SKI CLINICS AND MORE. VOLUNTEERS DONATED 8,124 HOURS OF SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY AND SCHOOL PROGRAMS. ASBURY WOODS CARES FOR 216 ACRES OF PRESERVED GREENSPACE THAT INCLUDES FIELDS, FORESTS AND WETLANDS. THE PROPERTY INCLUDES MORE THAN 5 MILES OF TRAILS WHICH ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AND USED BY TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE EACH YEAR. ASBURY WOODS CARES FOR 27 LIVE ANIMALS IN INDOOR EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS, MAINTAINS A PERMANENT EXHIBIT SPACE FOR HANDS-ON NATURE LEARNING, AND PRESENTS AN ANNUAL NATURE-THEMED EXHIBIT AND A VARIETY OF SPECIAL PROJECTS SUCH AS A MUSIC SERIES, A CYCLING EVENT AND A TRAIL RACE SERIES.
