ONE WORLD LINK IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON BRINGING THE WORLD TOGETHER, ONE COMMUNITY AT A TIME. THE ONE WORLD LINK MISSION IS TO ENCOURAGE SOCIAL AND SYSTEMIC CHANGE TO COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE WORLD BY USING LOCAL RESOURCES AND PROMOTING COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY. WE USE TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCH TO WORK WITH YOUTH GROUPS, ADULTS AND INSTITUTIONS TO IMPLEMENT OUR PROGRAMS OR HELP THEM CREATE PROGRAMS THAT ARE SPECIFIC TO THEIR COMMUNITY'S NEEDS. WE ACCOMPLISH OUR WORK THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS AND COLLABORATIONS.

ELEVEN AMERICORPS MEMBERS COMPLETED OVER 20,000 SERVICE HOURS. INCLUDED IN THEIR SERVICE WERE THE REHABILITATION AND BUILDING OF 15 HOMES.
AWARDED A COMMUNITY SAFETY GUN VIOLENCE PREVENTION CONTRACT FROM BIBB COUNTY. HIRED 7 NEW STAFF TO ENGAGE IN THAT WORK. AS OF THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR, THERE WERE NO GUN HOMICIDES IN THE TARGET AREAS.
AWARDED TWO NEW AMERICORPS GRANTS THAT WILL ALLOW FOR THE EXPANSION TO 63 FULL-TIME AMERICORPS MEMBERS STARTING IN AUGUST OF 2022. THE MEMBERS WILL SERVICE THROUGHOUT CENTRAL AND SOUTH GEORGIA. WE WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO HIRE 7 ADDITIONAL STAFF THAT WILL FOCUS JUST ON THE AMERICORPS PROGRAM.
