THE CHARTER SCHOOL IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING AND MAINTAINING A PUBLIC SCHOOL UNDER A CHARTER GRANTED BY THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY

THE BURCH CHARTER SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE WAS FOUNDED WITH THE MISSION TO ENABLE STUDENTS TO REACH THEIR INTELLECTUAL AND PERSONAL POTENTIAL. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITY THE CHARTER SCHOOL WORKS WITH INTEGRITY AND RESPECT TO REALIZE THE SHARED VISION OF ENABLING STUDENTS TO BECOME LIFE-LONG LEARNERS AND EFFECTIVE CONTRIBUTORS TO THE SOCIETY. IT BEGAN ITS FULL OPERATION IN SEPTEMBER 2008 AND CURRENTLY SERVES STUDENTS IN GRADES K TO 5 WITH AVERAGE ENROLLMENT OF 336 DURING THE 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR.
