WITHALL REACHES THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS WITH EATING DISORDERS AND THEIR FAMILIES, THOSE WHO ARE IN RECOVERY, PARENTS, COACHES, EDUCATORS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC EACH YEAR ABOUT THE DEVASTATING EFFECTS OF EATING DISORDERS BY PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT EFFECTIVE PREVENTION MEASURES. BY AWARDING ANNUAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE GRANTS WITHALL ALSO HELPS MEET THE BASIC NEEDS OF NEARLY 150 INDIVIDUALS WHO BOTH HAVE FINANCIAL NEED AND ARE WORKING TO ACHIEVE EATING DISORDER RECOVERY. WITHALL ALSO PARTICIPATES IN ADVOCACY EFFORTS FOR PROGRAMS THAT SERVE PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.
