THE PRIMARY MISSION OF THE CATHEDRAL HERITAGE FOUNDATION IS TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING FUND-RAISING AND GRANT-MAKING ACTIVITIES TO PRESERVE, RESTORE, MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE THE CATHEDRAL OF SAINT PAUL AS A LANDMARK ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES, AND AS A CENTER FOR EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, AND ARTISTIC ACTIVITIES FOR THE PEOPLE OF MINNESOTA AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022, THE FOUNDATION MADE 7 MAJOR GRANTS DIRECTLY TO THE CATHEDRAL OF SAINT PAUL FOR THE GENERAL RESTORATION, WINDOW RESTORATION, AND 244 DAYTON PROPERTY RENOVATION. THE FOUNDATION ALSO ENGAGED IN COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMS INTENDED TO MAKE THE CASE FOR CATHEDRAL PRESERVATION THROUGH WEBSITE UPDATES AND COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSES.
DURING FISCAL YEAR 2022, THE FOUNDATION HELD A FESITVAL EVENT WHICH INCLUDED A INDOOR AND OUTDOOR LIGHT SHOW PRODUCED BY THE AWARD-WINNING LUXMURALIS FROM THE UNITED KINDOM. THE EVENT INCLUDED A FULL PROJECTION OF MOVING IMAGES ACCOMPANIED BY CUSTOM MUSICAL RECORD. APPROXIMATELY 7,800 INDIVIDUALS ATTENDED THE EVENT OVER FOUR NIGHTS.
