THE PRIMARY MISSION OF THE CATHEDRAL HERITAGE FOUNDATION IS TO ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING FUND-RAISING AND GRANT-MAKING ACTIVITIES TO PRESERVE, RESTORE, MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE THE CATHEDRAL OF SAINT PAUL AS A LANDMARK ON THE NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES, AND AS A CENTER FOR EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, AND ARTISTIC ACTIVITIES FOR THE PEOPLE OF MINNESOTA AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

DURING FISCAL YEAR 2023, THE FOUNDATION MADE 5 MAJOR GRANTS DIRECTLY TO THE CATHEDRAL OF SAINT PAUL FOR GENERAL RESTORATION, FACILITY ASSESSMENT, AND THE TRANSFER OF THE SISTINE CHAPEL BOOK. THE FOUNDATION ALSO ENGAGED IN COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMS INTENDED TO MAKE THE CASE FOR CATHEDRAL PRESERVATION THROUGH WEBSITE UPDATES, MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS CONTAINING INFORMATION ABOUT THE HISTORY, PRESERVATION, AND SUPPORT PROVIDED BY THE FOUNDATION. THE FOUNDATION ALSO COMPLETED A PRODUCTION OF A MULTI-LANGUAGE VIRTUAL TOUR OF THE CATHEDRAL TO BE INTRODUCED TO THE PUBLIC IN EARLY 2024 FINALLY, THE FOUNDATION COMPLETED PLANNING FOR TWO PUBLIC EVENTS FOR COMPLETION IN FISCAL YEAR 2024.
