TO PROMOTE SAFETY AND WELFARE OF VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS AND TO ASSIST WITH FIRE PREVENTION FOR THE TOWN OF SOLON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.

TO INFORM AND SUPPORT COMMUNITY MEMBERS IN THE SURRONDING 112 MILE AREA ABOUT FIRE PREVENTION AND TO PROMOTE THE SAFETY AND WELLNESS OF 25 VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS. MONIES WERE RAISED TO SUPPORT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR SUPPLIES, TRAINING & MEETING COSTS, SAFETY APPARREL, AND EQUIPMENT. IN ADDITION, EFFORTS ARE BEING MADE TOWARDS BUILDING A NEW FIRE HOUSE, TENTATIVE BUILD DATE OF 2024. THE FIRE HOUSE WILL BE BUILT BY THE SOLON FIRE DEPARTMENT, AND THE ASSOCIATION WILL TURN OVER FUNDS TO THEM AS SOON AS THE FUNDRAISING GOAL HAS BEEN MET.
