A PROGRAM DESIGNED FOR GAP YEAR STUDENTS TO EXPLORE INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH GLOBAL SERVICE LEARNING AND ACADEMIC STUDY. THROUGH VARIED SERVICE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES, THE INTERNATIONAL STUDY PROGRAM IMMERSES STUDENTS IN CULTURES AND COMMUNITIES AROUND THE WORLD TO PROVIDE EXPERIENCE WITH VARIOIUS GLOBAL ISSUES. THE CURRICULUM TEACHES STUDENTS TO SYNTHESIZE ACADEMIC RESEARCH AND THEIR COLLECTED OBSERVATIONS ABROAD INTO CONCLUSIONS ABOUT THE NATURE OF GLOBALIZATION, WORLD HUNGER, HUMAN RIGHTS, CULTURAL CHANGE, AND INTERNATIONAL GOVERNMENT.
